Art Collective Project
Welcome to “Amor Florido,” a project that explores the balance between Florida’s natural beauty and urbanization. This artistic endeavor celebrates the state’s diverse ecosystems and vibrant culture, transcending regional boundaries with a fusion of street art and traditional techniques.
Inspired by artists Whitney Hackett and Juan Pablo Almonacid, “Amor Florido” is a universal tribute to the resilience of nature and cultural identity. We invite audiences globally to experience these themes through our art.
“Through the alchemy of creativity, we echo the Earth’s enduring song, composing a visual harmony for the world.”
– AMOR FLORIDO
About
Artist
Whitney Hackett is an artist whose work delves into themes of memory and nostalgia, presenting them through dreamy and celebratory paintings that evoke a childlike playfulness. She emphasizes the enshrinement of simple things, lifting the ordinary to extraordinary and highlighting the interconnectedness of all life. Whitney is a Fort Myers native who lives and works and holds a BFA from the University of Florida. Her vibrant paintings with a vintage feel were featured in solo exhibitions at the DAAS CO-OP Art Gallery, Alliance for the Arts, The Sidney & Berne Davis Art Center, and The Cape Coral Art Center, to name a few.
